Contribute a Donation

We can not thank you enough for the support. As they say in Spanish "muchas gracias" and in Kackiquel - which is one of many indigenous Mayan dialects - "matiox".

DISCLAIMER: Las Casas - Make Life Fair is not a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. A contribution will NOT be tax deductible.  Read below regarding how funds are utilized as a direct impact benefiting indigenous artisans in Guatemala.
Option 1: One Time Gift
Select a suggested amount below that you'd like to contribute to our work displaying culture, pursuing fairness and advocating for reconciliation. Or choose your own desired amount by using the button on the far right.

Las Casas is committed to providing extra financial benefits to our artisans and their Guatemalan communities - regardless of profit margin. This commitment goes beyond our business model. In fact, it is included in our personal 'tithe'. For example, on an annual basis, Las Casas sponsors Guatemalan students for fees associated with their school supplies and enrollment.  Las Casas also provided stimulus funds to community members in Nahaula during the Covid-19 pandemic, which tremendously impacted their economy in a devastating manner. This money reached those in most dire need, dispersed by our artisans from ADIGUAT as deemed necessary.
Option 2: Choose a Recurring Gift Plan
The Giver Plan
The Giver Plan is perfect for those who love to be able to give something special - or a random 'thinking of you' surprise - to their loved ones, and also provides you the opportunity to give a little something to yourself.

If you choose our Giver Program, we will send you a gift[s] each month. You have the option of donating $40 or $75 per month, which determines the level of gifts you receive [note: donation DOES include cost of shipping]. You have the option to cancel at any time - gifts will ship the first week of each month, so cancel by the end of the previous month.

*Gifts sent to you will vary per month, although some months may duplicate categories (such as scarves).
You may receive several small items some months, versus other months where you may receive a single, more expensive item.

Example - January: scarf, pouch - February: jewelry set - March: bookmarks, baskets, decor item - April: purse - May: lightweight scarf, etc.
Option 3: Host a Fundraiser
The Disciple Plan
Do you enjoy spreading the word to your friends and family? You would be a great candidate for our Disciple Plan, which supports Las Casas by getting more people involved in our cause.

If you choose to be apart of our Disciple Plan, then you are acting as an ambassador promoting Las Casas - Make Life Fair. This allows you to raise funds on our behalf. You commit to hosting a fundraiser, and you set the goal amount!

You can host a fundraiser as a one time event, or you can set up a recurring plan. Think of the recurring plan as a competition to raise the most funds by maybe even providing your own incentives!

The concept of the Disciple Plan is to have you solicit donations from those in your community (afterall, you are their trusted discipling source), and you act as the middle[wo]man to receive and re-distribute the funds to Las Casas. We can provide you with electronic documents [images, videos, flyers] upon request to help facilitate your fundraising efforts.
Option 4: Sponsor a 'Puzzle Piece'
Be a 'Piece to the Puzzle' in our pursuit of reconciliation. Contribute a one-time $35 donation, and in return we'll record your name, or brief message, on the back of one puzzle piece on the #BeReconciled Art Installation Puzzles (reference image below of the actual Art Installation).

Feel free to get creative with how your name or message is recorded on your sponsored puzzle piece. For example, consider one of these ways to have your name written on your puzzle piece:

1) Your Name(s)
2) Your Name and Where You're From
3) In Memory Of/In Honor Of/Dedicated To _________
4) Your Name plus an inspirational message (such as "Matthew 3:16" or "make peace, give love")
5) Sponsored by "Mrs Smith's 5th grade class in 2015" / "your company name"

Your sponsorship of a puzzle piece allows you to take a stand for the changes you'd like to see in the world. Add your name to the 'Directory of Amigos' with a contribution using the button above!
*The Directory of Amigos is a log of all contributors to show you where you sponsored puzzle piece is on the Art Installation. See below.

STEP 1: donate $35

STEP 2: submit your info to be displayed on your designated puzzle piece using the Contact Form
